Orthodontic Options for Teens
Clear Braces
When it’s time to get your teenager braces in Langley, our team has the solutions. As one of our most popular braces options for teenagers, our translucent cosmetic braces are just like traditional metal ones – but are much more subtle. Rather than using metal to straighten the teeth, these braces feature clear, tooth-coloured orthodontics brackets and wires to make them barely visible.
Lingual Braces
Lingual braces use the same components as traditional wire braces, except all of the materials are fixed onto the back sides of the teeth. So, all the orthodontics brackets and wiring are facing into the mouth and towards the tongue, rather than out to the world. This is a great braces option for teenagers who are anxious about the appearance of traditional braces.
Traditional Metal Braces
When it comes to braces options, teenagers can count on traditional braces to deliver fast and effective results. Tried, true, and the most common type of teenager braces in Langley, metal brackets are adhered to the teeth with metal wire positioned in between to connect and gradually reposition them. Teens love to have fun with their traditional braces, so we offer a variety of colours of elastics to let their personality shine!
Invisalign Teen Clear Aligners
Teens love the appearance, effectiveness, and convenience of Invisalign. This system uses clear aligners that fit similarly to mouth guards, which can be removed when it’s time to brush, floss, and eat, making no food – including popcorn and gum – off limits for Invisalign wearers. The molds are custom made to fit the teens teeth and are switched out every week or so to help the teeth move gradually until they are perfectly straight.
